GSTN vide its advisory dated September, 23 had informed about shifting of navigation of “Comparison of liability declared and ITC claimed” from the Returns Dashboard to Services dropdown in GST portal.
Now GSTN has further intimated that enhanced version of comparison reports of ITC and liability which includes several new features, has been made available on GST portal.
Change in navigation of comparison reports on GST portal:
It was stated by GSTN in the advisory as under:-
1.The functionality “Comparison of liability declared and ITC claimed” has been removed from Return Dashboard. It has now been made available on the main page, under the ‘Services’ tab, ‘Return’ sub-tab as “Tax liabilities and ITC comparison” , to make it more user friendly and for ease of access by the taxpayers.
2. The aforementioned functionality can now be accessed as per the following navigation (Post-login):
Home > Services > Returns > Tax liabilities and ITC comparison
Enhanced version of comparison reports:
Now GSTN has vide its tweet dated September, 25 has informed that now enhanced version of comparison reports of ITC and liability are available on GST portal. The new version includes additional features like:
- Easier navigation through services menu after login.
- Data will include details of IGST paid on import of goods from overseas & inward supplies of goods from SEZ.
- Download individual report as csv file and all reports in a single Excel file.
- Comparison with GSTR-2B (auto drafted ITC statement) instead of GSTR-3B.

The GSTN has stated that with above additional / new features in the comparison reports of ITC and liability, these reports have been made more user friendly.
