The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has informed on its portal that since the last date of filing Form GSTR-1 for April, 2021 has been extended up to 26th May, 2021 and Invoice Furnishing Facility (IFF) under QRMP Scheme up to 28th May, 2021, the Form GSTR-2B for April, 2021 shall be generated on 29th May 2021.
It may be noted here that the normal date of generation of auto drafted ITC statement in Form GSTR-2B is 14th of next month viz 14th May, 2021 for month of April, 2021. However in view of extension in timelines for filing of GSTR-1 and IFF corresponding change has been made in date of generation of GSTR-2B.
