Mam, in a JDA related to residential apartments only if the developer hires a contractor for construction, do such contractor is also required to obtain goods and services from registered persons only? And if does not do so whether RCM would become on the contractor? Please clarify

The RCM requirement is only on promoters due to application of concessional rates of 1% or 5%. Such requirement is not theer on sub-contractor who need to charge full GST @18% from the builder and thus can purchase from URD also without any limit.
