I am doing iron and steel business in my gst registered proprietorship firm . Now i want to do cloth and fabrics business in same firm along with steel materials. can i do? What is the process of doing?

As per Rule 19(1) of the CGST Rules you can file particulars for amending the registration certificate in FORM REG-14 by including the details of goods supplied viz cloth and fabrics business as well in the registration certificate. This is to be filed within a period of 14 days from change in particulars viz start of cloth and fabric business. Further if such new business is started at other place the place should also be added as additional place of business.
