Reimbursement of discount (buy 1 get 1 free) to dealer are taxable or not

In case the discount has been provided later as per the agreement, GST will not be exigible on the discount, and rather the supplier can issue a credit note and provide reversal of GST also provided ITC will also be reversed to such extent by the recipient.
